Living The Life: A Hip Hop Musical

Arts In My Backyard, Manhattan No Comments
On Sat. Feb 5 at Manhattan Theatre Lab High School (New York, NY), Principal Evelyn Collins and students would like you to attend “Livin’ In The Life: A Hip Hop Musical” presented by Manhattan Theater Lab High School.
We are asking celebrity guests to sign an educational pledge poster “Education is Celebrity.”
It will state:
“We believe in the Education of the Arts.
We believe and support that in order to be successful, you must be educated.
Dreams and passions that are studied and built upon
knowledge will give you a strong foundation.”
This poster will be framed and displayed at Manhattan Theatre Lab High School (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Campus 122 Amsterdam Avenue New York, NY).
The school is designed to nurture and inspire students with sincere aspirations in theatre, music and dance.
“Livin’ In The Life’s” story is resonant of movies like Fame, West Side Story and Lean On Me given the identical status of a self-sufficient cast of passionate, gifted high school students who act, sing, set design and choreograph dances. The production is written and directed by Principal Evelyn Collins. The music is directed by Gregg Payne.
We hope that you will be able to join us in making this event a success. Included is an official invite and press release for the event. If you and or your clients would like to attend, please call Etophia Lane at 347.613.3135 or reply by email to etophia@thebiznessgirl.com.
Thank You.
