President Obama Welcomes Broadway to the White House
It is with pleasure that I share the opening remarks by President Obama at the Taste of Broadway event at the White House last evening. You will see a few of your friends and colleagues in this video, but more importantly, you will hear the words about theatre that will make your proud! And a big congratulations to our Executive Committee member, Margo Lion, for her leadership in producing the evening. As Co Chair of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities she continues to represent us so very well. We are proud of her and this event. Enjoy!
