100 Impact Broadway students and chaperones were treated to the dress rehearsal of the 64th Tony awards at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 13th, thanks to the generosity of the Broadway League. Thanks to the students who submitted essays discussing why they wanted to attend the Tony Dress Rehearsal. Also, each school also signed thank you cards to Broadway League President Charlotte St. Martin to express their appreciation for attending the dress rehearsal a unique experience for these students. The same day,all students were invited to attend the Tony viewing party produced by Black2Broadway and hosted by Coleman Domingo and Kevin Anthony. The event was held at the restaurant Uptown Grand, located in Harlem. All of the Impact Broadway students, chaperones and family were invited and as we watched the live simulcast, students voted and cheered as our shows collected their awards.
